YOUTH MINISTRY OF NC

Again, we welcome you to the Youth Ministry of the North Carolina Diocese! – We’re committed to helping the youth (Y.F.F.U., ages 3-17 and Y.A..A., ages 18-40) mature in their relationship with God, grow their faith in God, discover their skills and talents, and find God’s will and purpose for their lives through sound, biblical truth and comprehensive learning.

Our overall diocese Mission Statement is: "To engage our community’s youth in a relationship with God; to equip them to grow in their faith in Jesus Christ; and to enjoy and share God’s love, through everyday interactions in the home, church, community... the world.

Proverbs 22:6 says “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

We stand committed to be the memorable blessing that can change the path of the downtrodden to the path of deliverance and the waward to the path of the winner. Philippians 4:13, says, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

OUR STORY

Our Youth Ministry establishes meaningful relationships between adult believers and students for the purpose of helping the students grow in their relationship with the Lord and to become a beacon light of excellence, in their homes, in their local churches and in their communities.

In this present age, it is a known fact that many young people continue to walk away from the church at an alarming rate, feeling defeated and faithless. Studies suggest that students who have multiple adult believers intentionally investing in their lives are more likely to stay connected to the church and flourish in their faith, the home... and the community. That is why we press forward in doing all we can to be the change, while helping to create change for the betterment of all that we come in contact with.

Our Youth Ministry encompasses two parts with one goal in mind:

Part I: The Young Folks & Friends Union (commonly known as: Y.F.F.U.) is an international department within The House of God Church, Keith Dominion, ranging from ages 3-17.

Part II: Youth and Young Adults (commonly known as: YAA) is an international department within The House of God Church, Keith Dominion, ranging from ages 18-40.

Honestly, it does not matter where you find yourself, we all work together to: HELP EACH OTHER FIND OUR GOD-DRIVEN PLACE IN THE CHURCH, COMMUNITY ... AND THE WORLD. Come and grow with us.
